Stopped snowing sometime yesterday, the sun came out and the only people on the roads were ....calling insurance companies and tow trucks. <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/smile.gif" width=15 height=15>

This morning the local news introduced some tool called a "scraper" that is said to be needed in order to drive...??

Miss Em left for a walk in the snow yesterday afternoon and met up with the rest of the thousands of people walking in the snow and they all got stranded at her friend's house across town.
She's still there.
If I have to pick her up, she will be home sometime next week.

How fun that you got to see our area on the news, RB! We all were glad to see us on TV for something other than hurricanes!

Dinner is Tuesday, Judy....how about you bring some good harmonies!! And chocolate. We're out of chocolate.

Milly, my dear, something's happened to our caller ID and answering service thingy...The caller ID has something in spanish running across the little screen (guess someone in the big offices pressed #2).
No list of who called. I know you're not where you WERE anymore....how about emailing me the new #!

Paris Island, huh?
I think that's where Batty's son was last year...they all stopped by here on their way home...You are welcome to do the same!

Nathen, I was thinking last night about the last time we saw snow like this....
It was there at your place with Becky, Nikki and Gene. I thought about how you decorated the whole yard with lit candles....I think I'll do that on my pourch tonight in honor of The Light of Friendship!

Good luck with your frozen pipes. It's still cold here in VA. I need a trip to Hawaii for a few weeks...

Do you mean your pipes, or the ones in the house? This is an important question if I am to offer some advice on how to thaw them, considering that a propane torch can be rough on most body parts.

Good harmonies and chocolate. What a great combination! I think I can handle that. Of course, I'll have to skip my yoga class, but then, you can't always do what you're supposed to do.....
