I probably won't have access after August 1st. Email me if you know before then at Terrie@w3webdesign.net and let me know where you're sitting. A picture of you would be nice too. I'll reply with my seat numbers and a pic of my son and me.

Hope to see you there. Maybe we can all go out for dinner before the show.

I guess we're going to miss it this year. It's a great place to see Arlo and a great place for a family vacation, too. Last time, I took my mother. Anyway, we've all got new jobs, so it's harder to take off a couple of weekdays for this show, and less money so it's harder to do lots of things.

I think he meets folks there. Have fun for me & Pat! I can't really complain too much about not being able to go cuz he does 4 shows here in VA in Oct & Nov & in Aug when we go to visit Mikes sister in Columbus, Ohio on our annual 2 weeks trip to vist her & her family, it just so happens my cousin Jason the singer is gonna be doing a gig up in Columbus in Aug. So we are going there around the time of his gig so we can see him up there & in concert. July 4 we go see Davy Jones of the Monkees in concert at Colonial Down horserace track. So it should be a busy time up until the dn of Nov... Have fun at NJ kids...

Can only say he always has done the meet and greet in Ocean City. It's such a relatively relaxed atmosphere I can't imagine that he wouldn't. He really does it everywhere unless he's prevented by the venue or has an obligation immediately after the show.

Hi, Viv and I are going to Ocean City, with or without JC...(depending on his work schedule & It would be more fun with). It's my favorite venue.

We are looking for a place to stay, so if anyone hears of a place, would you let me know??? Thanks. So far we have struck out for anything close.

Thanks - REG

We're camping in Cape May for the whole week. If you're into camping, try some campgrounds in the Ocean City/Marmoras area.

I'd offer you a a few nights at our site, but we already have 3 large tents (kids and their friends) so we barely have room for all our stuff and 2 cars.

If you want to camp at our campground, call Seashore Campsites on Seashore Road in Cape May. We're at Dogwood-12 and I think Dogwood-13 is still available.

Hey BuffGal...thanks for the idea about Camping, but Im afraid taking Viv and I camping would be disasterous. Our Idea of an roughing it adventure is a Holiday Inn with only 3 stars. (John and I tried camping last year...I told the owner I needed PEACE AND QUIET that weekend....we ended up 4,000 kids on our site with a peacock on our picnic table and a rooster pecking at our tent - Lovely LOL)

I got a few names of places in AC, although I would do anything not to stay there. Im still looking.

Hope to see you there. My daughter bought us the tix and they are on willcall, so I have no idea where we are sitting - She thinks they are pretty up front with Viv and I together and John one row behind us in the same area. Where are you sitting? - I'll get over my well known shyness and come find you!

Can't wait!!! Reg

Many years ago, we always stayed in the guest house on Perry Street in Cape May. One year, after the kids were born, we took them to Cape May and, again, stayed on Perry. This time, tho, we stayed in their motel next to the guest house. This was YEARS before Cape May became so... well... popular. All the guest houses are now $150 and up B&Bs.

I hated being in a motel with small kids, so we started camping down there instead. They could go off riding their bikes, going up to the General Store, riding the wagon, going for walks, etc. They went to the pavillion to see movies or do crafts, met other kids their age, played miniatire golf, did scavenger hunts at the lake. I could stay at the campsite and not have to "be" with them every second. Can't do that in a motel. And so, I fell in love with camping.

It's been 10 years now since we've gone down (we bought the house the following summer and couldn't afford to go back since then). Now that I'm "old" with joint pains, I thought I'd have to give up my plans. But I got 3 cortisone shots (2 in my hip) and I'm starting to feel better.

Next week, we'll see how well I do with camping after all these years. The past few years, we've done the motel circuit (mostly with my son visiting colleges; last year a month-long road-trip out west with my daughter)... I'm not so confident about camping this time.

Reg and John, try the mainland areas around Ocean City instead of another island. Not only should it be a little bit cheaper, it'll probably be easier to get onto the island with maybe a bit less traffic. Maybe Marmora. Mays Landing is near the racetrack on the mainland, it's just northwest of AC.

Also, try Rio Grande, Woodbine, Bellevue which are on the mainland outside Cape May, off route 9 and 47. If you end up in that area, maybe you can even come to the campsite and join us for dinner! Yes, at the campsite, I actually cook sometimes!
