I haven't been to a Ren Faire in about 20 years or so; I also keep meaning to. Ours is in May, and I always mean to go, but then it's suddenly the last weekend, it's hot, and there will be too many people, so I don't go. I do know a few regulars--they ARE the pros; Blunderites are like Pleasantville residents in comparison. My cousin has a closet full of costumes and from all reports, she pretty much becomes "someone else" when she's there. Hmmm.. maybe it is the mead! Or...????

Best wishes on this next procedure, Todd. I'm glad there's a Todd's place, too.

Good that you're home. Bad that you're sicker than when you went in. Still good to hear(?) from you. Not much to read, but it's the best I can do after a long, long week at work ... Bet some of the others can be more entertaining. (Could always read the gnuspaper.)

Blundervibes as always!

todd, feng shui suggests that you keep your bathroom door closed so that the "good luck" doesn't go down the toilet! So I closed Mike's (former) bathroom door, and the next day he was moved from the locked unit to the unlocked unit. Hey, it can't hurt!!

(But I wonder how old this stuff is if toilets are involved.)

sorry, nate...i feel a loaded question there..probably wisest to just let it be..

but it's down to a choice between the donkey dick and the pig tail.

what are you talking about, tiptoe?

todd, you met my son Mike a few years back. He's Bi-polar 1 with Psychotic Features and now add on schoid stuff too. He's living in Skid Row in LA by choice and had another manic episode. I went to visit him. He'll be released tomorrow, or so he says.

He's now taken every street drug possible. The PCP prolly made this episode worse. Nothin more to say about it. He's 18 & an adult and can do what he wants.

I'm worried to death...but can't do much...

Hope you're feeling better today. .

It's really hard to watch our adult children make choices we wouldn't want them to make, but you're right--there's often not much we can do but watch--and pray! Good thoughts to you and yours

Thanks Cheryl and Pat.

I love quilts, especially velvet, crazy ones. Do you make many? Stew has/had a very nice quilt from Okemah last summer.
