Pam I had no idea that you was in hospital, but I am glad that you are out and doing well. After a big dollop of bad luck myself a bigger dollop of good luck has landed in my lap so I'm wrapping it up in blundervibes and sending it off now.

Keep well
Hugs
Me.

An update: Pam's husband John wanted us to know that Pam's back in the hospital. Her system got out of whack, so they're balancing electrolytes, etc. No problems with the surgery itself (Yea!), so they think she'll go home again in a few days.

Thanks to all the blundervibes, I am finally really getting better. For what I thought would be a few days of discomfort and then back to work, it sure turned into a lot more.

I won't go into too many details other than to say that it was simply a matter of treatment for one thing caused other complications ... I ended up with Thrush (candida) due to antibiotics AND developed an ulcer (2d hospitalization).

I WILL tell you all, though, that when I came home from the 2d hospitalization, the day after I started getting ill again. I was on 9 (yes 9) prescriptions at the time.

It got to the point that I thought I was going to have to go back to the hospital, but thank Godde my friend Deb decided to take action ... she just about bought out the health food store for me. I dumped all the pharmaceuticals except the antibiotic and my glucophage--even dumped my blood pressure medication.

Day after THAT, I started getting better again and have been recovering more fully every day.

I'm counting down the days to the Fall Revival ... can't wait to see you all there.

Love and hugs -- Pamramadama

Glad you're doing better. Anyone on Glucophage needs prayers as I was on it & it was the medicine from h!!! for me. It gave me diarrehea so bad & had me throwing up one nite so I had to ask the dr to put me on something else cuz it got to the point I couldn't take it anymore. Mike is on it now & has no side effects. Lucky him. Hope ya get better soon & things go well for ya... <img src="http://www.arlo.net/ubb/smilies/peace.gif" width=16 height=16>
