Wow, he's cheaper than Arlo! Image I found out that last yr when Arlo did that private gig at the Lisner Auditorium at GWU college in DC last yr that how folks got to go was it was a thingy where they were letting folks who donated thousands of dollars to some Symphony orchestra go. Ya had to donate something like 20 thousand $$$ to that orchestra in order to get invited to go. Yikes!

That's alot of money for a Pete gig. Maybe folks on here can take donations to buy ya a ticket! With over half a millionfolks on here if each donated just 1$, I think we could get Nathen a ticket! Image

While the cost of going was really high, the price of being there was free....They had these tents, where the performers performed and inside the tents were folding chairs, but outside the tents was grass and hillsides and streams and all manner of places to stand and listen to everything going on on the inside, so if a person was willing to just stand around then the whole thing was free.
Bought a copy of Pete's new book, had him autograph it and also a poster for Friends of our rivers and streams (nikki's group) and talked to him for awhile said hello to him from all his friends here at Arlo Net and he looked at me strange and I swear he said "Arlo Who?"
So if the pictures come out I will send one to the gallery if not I will just have to do it again someday. Peace

It's amazing how many great shows a financially challenged person can catch if they're willing to stand around. More than once I've wound up in the front row and/or backstage because of being content with just getting near the music.

As for Pete's reaction to the mention of Arlo's name ... hey, go easy on the guy. You can't expect someone like Pete to remember everybody he's shaken hands with over the years, now can you? He meets so many people ... Image
