I'm probably the only person who remembers this little piece of trivia...
About ten years ago, some one wrote a book about "The History of Underwear". I bought a copy, read it (it really WAS kind of interesting!) and passed it along to a favorite folksinger. His photo was in it...(in a chapter all about "Underwear in Film and Television") from a scene in "Alice's Restaurant" where many young men were wandering around in their underwear, getting their Army induction exams..
The photo on the next page was Elvis in his underwear...

"I've never quite understood the attraction of butt floss myself.
I mean really, who in thier right mind would volunteer for a "wedgie"?

....and unfortunately, Larry....if some of us put those on, we'd never find 'em again....they'd be lost for months.

It is strange how modern fashion and culture can change everything....even medicine. In the old days, only your dentist used to ask you if you flossed on a regular basis and your proctologist never had to ask the same question. :shock:
