I think a lot of us were very tempted to go to that one, too. You and I have attended the same shows in years gone by: Tower Theater, Valley Forge... probably others in the Philly area. How about The Ripley, or Temple Music Fair in Ambler? Or The main Point in Bryn Mawr? Philly Folk Festival? How about the Folk Fest at a campground near Lancaster a few years ago? ADG also (usually) does a show at The Keswick in Glenside and one at the State Theater in Easton in November (so far, none this coming November, tho). And there are the local NJ shows, too!

Sorry we didn't get to meet yesterday. Maybe we'll cross paths again in the future (and plan to meet in person).

Great reports Sneakerface and Dylanis... I kept a set list but was not familiar with some of the Bromberg tunes. Regina's niece lives in Wilmington so we treated her and her friend to the show. They said they knew it would be a good time but were quite taken by Arlo's voice and Bromberg's playing. Nancy and Michael thanks for hanging out with us before and after the show. Sue good to see you. On to the church...

You are correct on both counts - and there was another fiddle medley tagged onto the end of "New Lee Highway Blues."

Also, my first set timing estimation was not including Angel Band, if you include their portion it was probably about 1 hour, 30 minutes.

There was a medical emergency alert at set break, they were saying something about "an ambulance coming through," which is strange, 'cuz I've never seen an ambulance drive into a theater, but my curiosity about the impending second set was so great that I resisted the urge to stand in the front and wait for an ambulance to drive into the theater.

I hope whoever was sick has recovered by now.

The show in Wilmington with Arlo and David was a real treat, especially for someone like me who goes back with them both for over three decades. They actually toured together many years ago -- but they didn't play together, at least not at the show I attended.

The Wilmington show was unique because it brought them together with no previous rehearsal. In other words, they were flying by the seat of their pants, something they both excel at.

I think Arlo put it best when they returned for an encore -- he said (I'm paraphrazing), "The show's over. We're going to stay up here and keep playing, and you can stay if you want. But the show's over." That really spoke to the wonderful informality of the evening.

If anyone has a copy of the show, please get in touch with me -- maybe we can work out a trade.

I caught them at the Providence Performing Arts Center 15 or so years ago, triple bill with John Sebastian (whom I did not care for) and Arlo and Bromberg performed a bunch of songs together, including "Stealin'" and "Key To The Highway" if I remember correctly.

Hi. Newbie here (but longtime Arlo fan). I was at the Arlo/Bromberg show in Wilmington last week, and what a treat it was. More like sitting in a big living room (with a lot of old friends), than attending a concert. Really appreciate the set list. By the way, the Angel Band singers consist of a local (DE) mother & daughter, and Bromberg's wife, Nancy Josephson.

There was a guy that passed out on the stairs coming down from the balcony...that was the medical emergency. Hope he's doing okay.
