Arlo played at Twin Towns on the Gold Coast last year. I took my son Sam who thought it was great especially when we met Arlo & he signed my 35 year old copy of "Alice's Restaurant". He played the Bob Dylan song "When the ship comes in". Does anyone know the meaning of this song? I wanted to ask at the time but there was a bit of a queue.pc.

It's a great song, especially the way Arlo does it. Although I'm not very religious, I always thought it referred to "judgment day" at the end of the world.
