Hey, if I'm not mistaken and my math is correct, today would have been Woody's 93rd birthday. Happy Birthday, Woody!

Happy birthday, Woody, wherever you are!

How's come we can say "Happy Birthday" to Woody in here, but not Arlo?
Something's not right about that....

That is strange. I wonder if maybe they thought folks were getting too OT in their BD messages or maybe this forums for message to dead folks & the other one is for messages for living folks...

Don't ask why they do anything around here. Believe me, all you get for your efforts is a deleted post. They have all the answers.

I don't think it matters where birthday wishes were said, as long as they're said somewhere. A birthday thread was started for Arlo in the other forums first, so why not have them all in the same place, especially since there is a link to that thread from Arlo's Restaurant? Makes sense to me.

Woody's birthday party in Okemah was outstanding! He truly was there; we could feel his presence everywhere.

As Judy said the Birthday thread was started early on in Moose Friends. It seemed to make sense to me to have it one click away in one thread then several, easier for the folkslinger to read and easier for folks to post.
And yes Joe the original post(not related to this thread) in the support forum was deleted and the questions were handled by e mail for several reasons and that person did not have issues with it being handled that way,so why do you ?!?!?! seems you are the only one complaining...

This is the first time you explained to me that the other poster had no issues with how you handled it. Your initial reply to me didn't explain anything. I had no idea whether the other poster was happy or was told to go jump in the lake. I have no problems now.

Hmmm well Joe,I,ve done my best to avoid this kind of thing since you,re return, but I wont be called a liar, below is the message I sent you that day.I still have the post as well that you posted in regards to "worshiping the altar of Dave",.I didn,t realize there had been some kind of coup or takeover and for some reason myself or other mods have to answer to you.But until word comes from elsewhere I,ll just continue handling things the way we always have.

Getting back to the original topic here, thanks for letting us know how things were at Woody's birthday party, Ceashel! How was the music? The weather? The pancakes? And was there a giant chonklit cake? If ever there was a time to have a giant chonklit cake, Woodyfest would be it! They should make one big enough for the Guinness Book of World Records! I'm finally getting around to reading Ed Cray's biography of Woody. What a life he led!

Sparky, perhaps I didn't express myself well enough in my last post, or you may have misinterpretted, but when I said that you "didn't explain anything" in your PM to me, all I meant was that when you told me it was "handled off the boards" you didn't tell me that the other party was satisfied with your explanation. Nobody is calling you a liar.

I'm not gonna reply to anything else you said in your last post, coz you probably wouldn't have said any of it but for my own apparent failure to clearly articulate what I meant to say.
