Who's going to the OC, NJ show tomorrow night? Now that it's going to be a rainy few days, my daughter decided not to go with me... maybe my stepmom Marian will go, who knows?

Once again we were treated to a very entertaining and fun evening. Arlo, the Mammals, Abe and Gordon were just great! Very good music and lots of fun. The Ocean City Music Pier is always the best place. Arlo always comments about how much the beach and boardwalk location of this concert reminds him so much of growing up back in Coney Island, NY. You can easily see that Arlo truely feels at-home doing this show. Hey, we also got a chance to purchase his new Maple and Molasses syrup and the new Live in Sydney two cd set, which he autographed after the show. Already looking forward to seeing Arlo back in O.C. in 2006.

Hi gang. On the way home from OC/AC, I dropped John off at MetroPark, he's working 3-11. picked up the crazed Beagle from the Doggie Day care lady - had to do one little errand - and here I am. I had so much fun yesterday at the Ocean City gig. It poured rain the day before and today, but the weather was beautiful to walk up and down the boardwalk, during the gig and to hang out afterwards! I met a couple of nice people there, saw some good friends and had some REALLY big laughs!!!

Hi, Reg. It was great, wasn't it? So many people I knew, but I couldn't remember some of their names, like the couple who was with you and John at the bench on the boardwalk. Nancy, of course, Beryl and Howie, Sue, GrandpaSteve and his wife Holly and their 2 granddaughters, Dan and Donna, Lisa and the kids, Deb and some others. Sorry that I don't remember everyone's names.

There was one very cool cloud formation that John took some shots of: a moose cloud! Can't wait to see how that turned out.

The Mammals are fabulous! I'd never heard them before and they were definitely worth seeing. Such energy! Although their time onstage did cut Arlo's a little shorter than usual, I didn't mind at all. After their set, they joined Arlo about half-way through his and one particular instrumental they all did together after Alice was just phenomenal!

Arlo's new syrup was available for sale and arlograph. I hear there's going to be another new T-shirt available soon.... it sounds like a winner. Of course I didn't get to the see the newest shirt, but hope more come in-stock so I can order it online.

I had my stepmother Marian with me. After 12 years of hearing all about Arlo, she finally got to see for herself what all the fuss is about. And we went for dinner after the show and Michael (Arlo's driver) joined us. We had a great time!

Yeah it was a wonderful night, The Music Pier is a great venue. Terrie it was nice meeting your stepmom. The couple at the bench are Tom-n-Mary, You've seen them before at the church and they're the nicest folks. I found out at the gig I had front row seats to a show next year I wasn't even aware of yet. (thanks Nancy) and Dr. Dee was there and looking great. A highlight of the night for me was the crowds reaction to the Mammals performing Mike Merenda's The Bush Boys. People cheered throughout the song and many gave a standing 'o' at it's conclusion. It's good to live in a blue state! ( You can find the lyrics at http://www.themammals.net - I think Mike may have a little Phil Ochs in him) Arlo just seemed to be having so much fun, he was smiling before the songs, after the songs, hell he was smiling during the songs.

Sounds like you all had a great time. Glad you got to have dinner with Michael & he's doing well. He wasn't at the Birchmere due to them flying to the gigs so we missed him...
