Daniel, guitarist/music editor Happy Traum tabbed out Arlo's guitar intro for "Ring Around The Rosy Rag" in This Is The Arlo Guthrie Book (Collier Books, 1969). The book is, sadly, out-of-print now, but perhaps you can find a copy on one of the auction sites or at a university library or from a used book dealer.

I was trying to figure out the chords for "Which Side", and this site says that it's Bm A G A. However, G Am G F sounds more accurate to me. Any guitar players out there who know what it really is?

Hi Arlo - UNFORTUNATELY is right!! I hate those coffee makers with that coffee they give you!! Never tastes like coffee to me!! When I stay in Great Barrington for the Church shows, I always go out in the morning to Friendly's for coffee -- it's not great but better than the motel!! Yeah their coffee is awful, but the Folgers ad we did years ago was the single most important reason we were able to buy the church. So more power to 'em as long as there's some decent stuff nearby.

The first time I saw that ad I was like that sounds like Arlo singing. Am I going nuts? LOL! Speaking of Alices, I figured out how to play that on mountain dulicimer. Arlo oughta try that sometime. That'd be neat.

The coffee must have been terrific when "Outlasting the Blues" was made. It's still my favourite album of all times.
Which Side is in Bm on the record, which is why I tried to write it that way in the tabs section of this site. But Daniel, I think you should play it in Am if it sounds better. Even adg agrees on that.
