Since things can get pretty hectic tomorrow, what with gatherin' up all the food, shufflin' off to the relatives, hunkerin' down around the radio at noon to hear a long drawn out story yet one more time again 8)
I thought I'd just take this moment to wish all of you folks a wonderful Thanksgiving day, here or there or everywhere! (and that includes you sparky!)

I, also, just wanted to wish everyone and their families a Happy Thanksgiving! :D Hmm ... what am I thankful for?? Well, my family and friends for starters. I am also very thankful for Arlo for bringing the feeling of peace back into my life and heart. Also, thankful for having the Church to visit ...what a beautiful place to feel 'at home'.

Happy Thanksgiving Cyndy! Tomorrow I am going to play my Alice's Restaurant CD and watch the movie too. Alice's Restaurant is a ritual like The Wizard Of Oz .....I will be intentionally walking down a mock yellow brick road without ruby slippers with a peace sign smothered in my concert T-shirt I bought last Thursday greeting the Munchkins all on acid 8) and singing Amazing Grace.

It's 6:00 PM EST here, so most of our Thanksgiving Day is over. Of course it is not celebrated here except by a few of us Yanks, so I still had to go to work today, but am home now and listening too YOU KNOW WHAT as I write.

We will have some turkey for dinner and listen again!

So good morning and HAPPY THANKSGIVING and HAPPY ANNIVERSARY ALICES to all my BlunderBuddies everywhere.

Thanks adg for starting it all 40 years ago, and have a great day with your family.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Over here it is not a holiday, but I still remember the Thanksgivings I spent with American friends. Tons of food, pumpkin pies, sweet potatoe pies, things I had never heard of and turkeys in a size that you had to squeeze so they would fit into a regular German stove. Gooooooood food. :!:
Happy Anniversary to a great song that exists now for 40 years and still is able to make people think while smiling and having a good time.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the other Arlo-heads in the world. I could only find ONE STATION that played Alice's Restaurant today at noon here in Connecticut. Hats off to WRKI (I-95) in Brookfield for keeping the tradition alive. They will play it three times today! The others that used to play it were playing useless Mariah Carey or Free Bird (A song I never have to hear again in my life). Enjoy the day!

:lol: Wow, it's already Thanksgiving, and I'm supposed to be getting my pies in the oven....but I had to check in and say Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, and especially Arlo, Jackie and all the kids and grandkids!!

I'm thankful for many things, but all the years I've had the music and the fun that Arlo and his family make is up there with the best of them!

God bless ya all this Thanksgiving Day... don't forget to take out the garbage ...

And what is a Thansgiving without having "Alice's Restaurant" going in the backgreound (and foreground) during the day. I can't think of another Thanksgiving song, although there must be more out there. So was it 40 years ago THIS Thanksgiving when the Thanksgiving that couldn't be beat was served? No wonder it's a national holiday...
