my daughter has decided on Pitt for next year so I stood at homeplate. I couldn't picture how the field would have been there but??? Time changes everything! seems like a pretty good place for school i suppose?

Univ. of Pittsburgh?
My son did some research there (in conjunction with Carnegie Melon - a nice deal!) and enjoyed his time in Pitt.
He got to go to a ballgame once even... but someone more devious than me designed the bridge/road puzzle...

I certainly wouldn't let baseball be any determinant of where to go to school, especially when Basketball rules! (Go TERPS!)

I have experienced the road thing you mentioned and it was powerful confusing and time consuming as well!

Boomer Sooner / Tuck Fexas (I like basketball for a second or third sport)

Hey, Gerry, I dunno whether you check in here much any more or not, but if you, the big event is in 2 weeks from today. Hope you'll stop by & see Dan & me if you can.

The event starts at 1:00, but I'm usually there at 11:00 to talk to my friends who arrive early. (I tell my wife that I get there early for batting practice. It gives her more evidence to use at the insanity hearing that will probably take place some day...)

Don't worry. Mike would probably be there if he lived in the area lol...

I'm still here. I haven't gone anywhere. And I do check-in from time to time. I'll try to stop in. Will there be music again this year? If so, does the music start at 1:00 also? And will Maz be there?

Dunno about any of these things, Gerry! I haven't heard, & if I had to guess, I'm about 80% sure that there will be no music or former Bucs (cept Bob Friend, who never misses) this year. The replica gate that the city left up takes away the parking behind the Wall, which is something we need to attract the local celebrity-types. They don't wanna park a few blocks away & walk over while getting mobbed by people the whole time. So it'll be more like it was when I started going in '94---just the fans. Look forward to seeing you if you can make it!
