Science reports today include a story where scientists are planning to map Neanderthal DNA to help explain where we all came from. Reports do not indicate where they may be getting the DNA samples, but in a related story it was reported that scientists got George W. Bush to agree to a simple cheek swab and hair sample donation.

look what i found! (i started talking about this on psb's thread but wasn't sure where i should put all this stuff so i put it here, i hope that's alright!) this is not the complete story i recall because i distinctly remember seeing the truck with the extensible ladder (that i'd mentioned before), but this is all i could find...apparently, though, i got gumby and his dad mixed up (his dad made the trip to the moon on the ladder) it had been quite a while since i'd seen it. the older episodes are the best (like this one)...i was completely disinterested in the later ones as i recall.

fantastically odd!

i think he meant to say, "in our weather area" but he said..

in arlo weather area;
if a tornado is spotted take refuge in a low lying area;
if flooding occurs get out of low lying area to a safe place.

that's what he said!

Speaking Greek to a Chinaman is the same as speaking English to a Bush.

Authorities announced today that the Bush bedroom at the whitehouse to be renamed the Babel room upon his retirement.

I saw on the net today that they found NEW dinosuar fossils in Spain. I didn't think they were making fossils anymore?
Strange but true.

There's a bru-ha-ha between the donald, rosie and miss USA.........smart people don't seem to care, but shares of stock in The National Enquirer skyrocket! Strange but true.

In November, before the mid-term elections, George Bush said we were with no doubt winning the war in Iraq, this week, he said we are not winning the war, but we are not losing either. Perhaps we can throw a flag, go to the video reply, declare a do-over, and get back the lives of the 3000 soldiers we have lost so far?
