What a show! I always find it scarry when I, at age 17, know more words and more songs than my parents at the Arlo shows. I was singing basically the whole time, while my parents didn't know a lot of the songs. My parents - and everyone around me - were fairly surprised that I knew every word to My Peace the first time through. Amazing show, though. No huge setlist surprises (apart from Rocky Road; I was raised on Peter Paul and Mary as well as the other folkies, so this one was REALLY cool). Arlo threw a great rib at Bush in the middle of the Joseph story (when describing how the Pharoah was 'glossy-eyed and didn't know what was going on.....kind of like today' or something to that effect). Arlo sounded great, and the crowd was fairly into it (for old people...I feel so young at these Blundering concerts!). Overall an amazing experience. My only complaint was CoNO; the last time I heard it was the first show of the CoNO tour, and after that emotional super-high, the song doesn't pack the same punch. Note to ADG: just bring all of thems New Orleans people so that they can sing the one song with you . Ok, this was long and rant-ish enough.

Hey what a great show! Sorry I didn't find you in the second row--we were sitting right in the center. GREAT seats! We loved the show. I was surprised to hear Red-Haired Boy--that's a song I actually used to flat-pick in my day (I'm kinda rusty now ). But everything was beautiful and I so enjoyed hearing Alice's Restaurant live. I was trying to burn the moment in my brain! We hung around long enough to get an autograph and picture. Thanks, ADG, it meant a lot to me. I'd love to post the picture somewhere for everyone to see. Where can I do that, anyone know?

Great pictures. Thanks for posting. Cool, seems the new site allows you to picture them directly.

The pictures are nice, but it would be preferable that you try to upload them to the Photo Gallery found elsewhere on this site (just click on that option on the left hand side of the Home Page)

OR

Put the photos into a web gallery of your own, and just post the URL in the forum.

Either method would be preferable to having to wade through many pictures within a forum meant primarily for discussing shows and setlists.

Thank you, Arlo. And thank you so much for the show. I cannot tell you how much I loved hearing 'Darkest Hour' - and I haven't heard 'Slow Boat' for years, but I cried remembering that it was Todd's favorite.

I'm very sad that my picture with you did not turn out (though it's almost ok, when made into a thumbnail). I should have focused it first, then come over by you. I am on a diet, doing a lot of walking. I was intending that the photo last night would be my "almost before" picture. (Couldn't be my before pic, since I've lost over 38 pounds.)

Arnie - I figured that if I was supplying the bandwidth, and the setlist and review was all ready posted, I was ok to post pics - since the board allows that and the old one did not.

If I'm wrong about that, I'm sorry. If you can get me priviledges to edit my own post, I can change all of those into thumbnails and make links to the larger versions. I thought I was being a sweetheart by reducing the size of the originals.

and if you can provide links, then no need for thumbnails, just post links in the future. Most folks who want to see the pix will certainly take advantage. That would be the preferred method. Keeping things tidy and manageable around here is all we're trying for.
If you want to send me these links, I could do the editting for you.

I had to leave and couldn't wait to meet ADG. I really wanted to, but I met him back in November, so my parents weren't too keen. I still want to go out to Woodstock to see him later this year and meet 'im again, though!

the pics look great...almost makes me want to get a digital camera...but still prefer the tinkering involved with the hand cranked clunkers that work whether the batteries are in 'em or not.
