Hey what a great show! Sorry I didn't find you in the second row--we were sitting right in the center. GREAT seats! We loved the show. I was surprised to hear Red-Haired Boy--that's a song I actually used to flat-pick in my day (I'm kinda rusty now :)). But everything was beautiful and I so enjoyed hearing Alice's Restaurant live. I was trying to burn the moment in my brain! We hung around long enough to get an autograph and picture. Thanks, ADG, it meant a lot to me. I'd love to post the picture somewhere for everyone to see. Where can I do that, anyone know?
I was stage-left of Arlo's piano in the left section, one seat in. I was the teenager in the yarmoulke and Farm Aid t-shirt. You probably saw me.

Hi rb, good to see you as well.

I'm hoping to get in some kind of shape to walk the Garbage Trail - probably not this year, but next year may be doable.

And I second what Kurt asked. Arlo's talk about Joseph and the guy that said "They went that way" should be preserved. Loved the (almost accurate) quote: "It's only because the world sucks as bad as it does that means doing so little can mean so much."

I was personally a fan of "So Jacob goes to Joseph and says 'Dude! What are you still doin in the house?!' I'm paraphrasing, obviously."

I did definitely notice a Farm Aid t-shirt in that area, but didn't get a good look at the face it was attached to! Maybe next time!

If it was the green Farmers Kick Ass shirt, that was me! After the show, Dave came down right by us. My parents were rushing me out though, so I didn't get to talk to him or Terry, and obviously didn't get to stick around to meet Abe, Gordon, or The Folksinger. Hopefully next time.....

I realized durring the show that before I lopped off my long hair, I looked like a slightly-lighter Abe Guthrie. Scary.....

They probably would have let me stay had I not had VIP tickets (got to go to the reception after the show with everyone who performed) at the City of New Orleans kickoff show. It was late, and they figured that having already met ADG once, it was no big deal. Of course to me it was a big deal! Oh well. Hopefully he'll come back real soon.....

I think it's great that your parents accompanied you to the show; you're a pretty lucky kid! I noticed that a show has been added at the College of Dupage in October. That's just down the road from me so I'm going to try and catch that one.

To those who asked - if you'd like to save and print the photos I took for your own use, it's fine with me.

And thanks for asking - and for wanting them.

That's great your folks took ya to a show. My mom went with us to 2 Arlo shows & at one of them my dad went too. He ran into Arlo & met him when we weren't with him. I wish I had been there to see them meet. Now my folks know why I am the way I am lol...
