You know, I was thinking of her yesterday, too..... I'll send her a quick email.

Her e-mail addy wasn't working any more, and every time I'd think of calling Pam, it was a bad time (midnight, or while driving to work, or something), but FINALLY I thought of it at a good time, last Saturday morning. She hasn't been around the boards because she's finally "where she wanted to be," and life is really, really good but also way beyond busy. She's personally reached a very good place; at peace with herself, centered--but also she is one of a group of people establishing a holistic/naturopathic medical center and network. They've fixed up a cool, older building (and wound up "fixing up" the entire neighborhood, with plantings, etc., and even got the city to install benches, flower pots, etc.). They wanted to rent another building for their nonprofit/spiritual component, but couldn't afford it. The building owner was so impressed and in tune with what they're doing, he is letting them have it rent-free! Her group includes MDs, other practitioners, all kinds of disciplines working together. She was working on getting this going last year, and now it's a reality. Pam is the manager/keeps-it-all-organized person--the "glue" holding it together. (My words, not hers.) It sounds like an 8-day-a-week job. She does steal time to read the boards once in awhile so she can keep up with how everyone is, but hasn't got time to do much else. We were both working on Saturday (her at the center, me at the fiddle shop), and we couldn't talk long, so I didn't get an e-mail address from her, but I'll get one soon. Pam asked me to say that she misses us all and hates not getting to the Church this year, but she'll be back as soon as she can. She sends love and hugs to all of us.

Thanks Ceashel, Im glad to hear that!!! I tried to call about a month ago (maybe a little longer than that), left a whole long message, never heard back from her (that I know of). I was hoping it was because she was good busy and not bad occupied. Im glad for her. I like her a lot. I found her a person I could really open up too. Also good to hear a Blunderite that is doing something they want to do.

Glad she is doing okay. I had wondered about some folks including her who hadn't been on here in awhile & wondered how they were doing...

Woo-hoo! That's great! It's been a crazy year for Pam. I tried emailing her a week or two ago, got no response, and never got around to thinking about calling, since my own life has been crazy. Actually, I should have tried while I was in Michigan (briefly) a week ago, but didn't have the number or address with me.......But I'm so glad to hear the good news!

This is all so weird (not a surprise, I guess), because last week I had a dream about her and wondered what was going on with her. Glad to hear she's ok.
