Just last month (July 2006) I went to see Arlo and Guthrie family band perform on the same stage at the Crystal Theater in Okemah, Oklahoma, where his dad had performed many moons ago. Even though this was my 1st time to the Woody Guthrie Fest, and my 4th time to see Arlo in concert, I loved the concert, the location, and the whole evening!!!!! Even though it was rather hot there, it was truly a magical evening. I will definitely go back next year, and with next year's festival being the 10th annual Woody Guthrie Fest, I am hoping that Arlo and company will return and perform again at the Wednesday night concert.

I really love it when Arlo performs his dad's songs, especially "Oklahoma Hills", "Pastures of Plenty", "This Land is Your Land", "Dust Bowl Talking Blues", and others that I don't know the titles of. I really do enjoy Arlo's comments about the songs he performs, as it just adds to the performance.

Can't wait to see Arlo again in concert, and hopefully I will get to go to another Arlo concert next month!
