Will my camera be allowed in? I know you were filming the CoNO show (what happened with the filming, btw? Will we see a DVD or something soon?) so I couldn't bring my camera in. Does Symphony Center have a ban, or can I bring mine in?

What I do when a place doesn't allow ya to take pics is I sneak & take 'em without flash & hope I don't get caught. Sounds like this places has some silly rules. Good luck!

My signed Arlo poster (also signed by Sarah Lee, Cyril Neville, and Kevn Kinney from the CoNO Tour Kickoff Show ) is hangin on my wall. None of my Arlo stuff is going anywhere any time soon. I love it too much!

Sue's right. It is so sad to see stuff autographed by him on Ebay. How can people sell their memories like that? I couldn't...

I never have anything autographed by anyone unless I'm planning on keeping it...I don't think it's nice to take advantage of the kindness of any performer. It always burns me up when I see people bringing in stacks of record album covers for autographs, and then see 'em on eBay within hours after the concerts.

Sad, indeed. I never understand it. Only thing that pisses me off more is when people try to pass off preprinted autographs as real (I collect autographs as a hobby through the mail, and I've seen prints that I have on eBay as family heirlooms, a dead relative's old collection, etc)

One thing I'm never going to part with is a fiddle that itself is nothing special, but I started collecting signatures on it about ten years ago. Arlo signed it about six years ago(in blue paint pen!); so did Kevin Burke, the fiddler who Arlo had play on Last of the Brooklyn Cowboys; I took a fiddle workshop with him. I ran into Scottish fiddler Johnny Cunningham (was with the group Silly Wizard) at a Celtic festival about 5 years ago. He signed it all the way across the fiddle on the back, diagonally. He was very charismatic, a wonderfully talented fiddler, and was a good guy to share a Guiness with; he had wonderful stories. His presence at a Celtic festival was sometimes the reason to go. He passed away a couple of years ago, and he is greatly missed by a lot of people. The last time I saw him was at the Barns of Wolf Trap when he was travelling with Patrick Orceau, Kevin Burke and Ged Foley, under the name Celtic Fiddle Festival about a year before he died. They did record a couple of excellent CDs.
