Of all of Arlo's songs, the verse in Under Cover of Night, "who will pay the price of freedom, learn the disciplines of the road?" is the most important thought I have ever heard. I asked Arlo in an email to teach me them, while I was out on the road. Some tough things can happen out there when your a small town kid with a big city atitude. I hope that is one thing I've learned when I hit it again. (Before the road hits me again.) I wish the people in charge would learn them too.

While I have a post here about the discplines of the road which could lead to all 6 billion of us to being free, I must ask one more question of Arlo. It might put him on the spot. I am #9 of a family (Including my parents one of which I just lost.--My Father at 86) and have seen 2 commercials on CMT-Country Music Television addressed to #9.
I had been sending out lots of Politacal stuff about these endtimes, the worker ownership of the Mondragon Cooperative (Which I heard of from my Mom) and somethings about Arlo.
In Janurary of 97 while I was in Vallejo, CA, up on the TV in this bar, the man next to me said you're getting a message from someone right now. I looked up and in writing it said, "#9, I should not hate you. what you know now need never be revealed. With 4 Maries at the end which is the middle name of my sisters." The man bnext to me said, "You are not crazy.
Again in Memphis of 98 at a bar while I had emailed a lot of people about the same things but ended with the words from all Along the Watchtower, "Two Riders were Appraoching, and the wiond began to howl." Up on CMT were the words #9, do it your way not mine with an 1mark next to #3(Abrother who beleives that song we got a freind in Jesus as his belief. And a ? mark next to #8 who was part of the Jesus movement in Northern CA, and who I have always respected greatly.
So Arlo, did you pay fro those two commecials?
