Yum knishes! Haven't had one in yrs. Last time I had one was at a Buffalo Nickel eating joint they had in Norfolk quite some yrs ago & served alot of NYC type food there. Kinda a fast food NYC type of place. It closed up & became a Calvary Jesus Saves cars auto sales place where they sell cars (Oh yeah auto dealership I think is the word for it)...

to be perfectly fair, this did start formenting during the clinton years... but the most ironic thing i've heard about it, is that they imply that the Clinton whitehouse was too preoccupied with the Monica affair, and this stuff got under their radar. The ironic part, is that it was the conservative repubs who pounded clinton and the whitehouse with accusations of 'shame'... essentially tying up the resources that would have acted if they were unencumbered...
so basically, the repubs dealt the hand they are playing with now!

Well, hold on thar! In an interview not long after 9/11, Bill Clinton mentioned that when he met with Dubya to "hand over the reins of power" he was going over a lot of stuff that Dubya needed to know. One of those things was bin Laden and about how big a threat he was to the US and that he was probably planning some sort of attack on the US. Clinton said that Bush seemed really disinterested in the subject and seemed like he wasn't paying all that much attention to it.

And bin Laden was around and about (militarily) well before Clinton was in office, going back at least to King George (Bush) the First.
