The local New Orleans paper has Arlo listed to play here free at the New Year's Eve riverfront fireworks countdown. Why doesn't this site make mention. If Arlo is playng anywhere else in the New Orleans vicinity, I'd like to know where. It's always a great vibe when the family and friends roll into town.

My understanding is that the show was cancelled. Arlo mentioned it here somewhere, perhaps in announcements. So far as I know, he's not on the road until feb.

I don't know if you saw that listing in the Times-Pic or just some local community paper, treys, but I doubt that he's appearing there THIS New Year's Eve. His appearances at Tipitina's were cancelled in early December, and he's not scheduled to hit the road until February.

I wouldn't be surprised if the listing you are looking at was never updated from LAST year. Maybe the folkslinger could weigh in here.

Oh, it was in the Times-Picayune for this year.

>>That'll learn me to double-check before posting. This morning it said they would and now it doesn't list them.

Last year, the event was listed in the Schedule (button on the left) and it isn't listed this year (or in Sarah and Johnny's site either).

No harm, no foul, kurt. That listing came from the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau, and I think they just lifted last year's program.

You might want to review your post in that other thread.

Obviously the paper in New Orleans had it wrong or perhaps only a year behind as Mikey pointed out. Nevertheless, I hope all had a great time and look forward to an even better year.

Love,Peace & Blessings,
Trey
