There is a movement in Vermont to secede from the United States. A recent study indicated that 13% of eligible voters favor secession, an increase of 5% from last year. Some of the reasons are the government's loss of moral authority due to it being controlled by corporate America and what they see as the beginnings of the downfall of America's government (ala the Soviet Union and/or South Africa). Not to mention the graft, lies, unwarranted war, loss of liberties, torture of so called POWs, ignoring the Constitution and Bill of Rights, etc., etc. CT and the rest of the New England states should join them. Then we could declare it New New England! For more on this see the following sites.

To quote Mussolini:

"Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."

Sound familiar?

What, no more Cherry Garcia ice cream? I might have to become one of those "Al Qaeda types" (Dick Cheney's words), just so I can score some of Ben and jerry's stuff at Gitmo.

Jerry was only diabetic when his weight went over 250. Below 250 his pancreas would kick in. He never OK'd the ice cream, but did'nt challenge it either. He was more partial to Hagen Daz. They did some touche though.....a tshirt patterned after Ben and Jerry's.....that said "California's Finest.....The Grateful Dead". I prefer Wavy Gravy myself.

I wouldn't go as for as picking up swords against a Gov. that can't defend us. But I would go as for as suggesting people pick up pens... to tell the powers to be that smaller gov. is in our own states. Oh, and even smaller gov. should be from our cities.
