my, what a day!...

hey! :)
i have a story about that sleepy labeef guy, here it goes...me and my friend were at the thrift store one day and i see this not very small guy wearing a really cool hat, i mean it had a really nice hatband, and you could tell he wore it alot, so anyway, i am devising a way to get the hat, and the plan was that my friend would take him out at the knees and i would grab the hat from his head and we would both run away! but the guy i think overheard this cuz he looked over at us, and i said "hi, we were just admiring your hat." as i was circling my head with my index finger to signify,"hat". and he was saying something, i forget what, i think i was lost in the buzz for a moment (not like an induced buzz but a natural buzz...anyway!) but he was smiling, so the next thing i know more folks who were with him were saying something about a nearby show they were doing that night (i think they all sensed that we had no idea who this guy was, but we liked his hat), and we find out who he is (sleepy labeef) who is pretty gregarious and as it would turn out also a well known rockabilly guitarist, and i am thinking to myself ."boy! i sure know how to pick 'em!"

On this date in 1956, a 10 year old George W. Bush had a lucid, original and intelligent thought..........it's not happened again ever since.
