Of course I can't speak for Arlo, but as a concerned blunderite I'd like to know what assurances can be made to Arlo and his fans regarding the apparent Godzilla problem you have there in Oz. My understanding is that on his last visit, our favorite folkslinger nearly became the toe-jam of a giant reptile. Of course since Arlo does live in a country ruled by George W. Bush, I don't really know if he is safer here than in a country with Godzilla running amok, but as I said, I'm concerned.
I mean I know the dude is a survivor, since he's made it through the Viet- Nam draft era, Nixon, Giant Clams, George Bush,(so far) and even the 70's disco craze, but we wanna be sure. :)

Yeah, Larry, Arlo has certainly been thru some stuff. I reckon that providing he doesn't get tangled up in our prime minister John Howards' eyebrows, he should be pretty safe if he ventures down our way again. As far as I know, there are no giant clams on the loose, or rampant prehistoric animals for that matter (except perhaps John Howard!!)

I don't know much about this John Howard guy since news from Oz doesn't really make the front pages on this side of the globe. BUT, if like in the sports world, you guys downunder care to make a trade, we got a Bush we could send you for him! I, for one, am willing to take the chance sight unseen!

He'll be safe after November, don't forget we will need Votin' Vibes then.
I will soon be posting Oz Politics 101 for those who are interested.
Has is really been over 3 years already! I guess I'll just have to be happy to spend an evening with Bob next Monday night (wonder what mood he'll be in this time) it's always a surprise! Now don't get me wrong I've been a fan of Bob as long as I've been a fan of adg (about 40 years or so) and I always enjoy seeing him. But if they were appearing on the same night...well the one that makes me laugh, get a little homesick for my other home and keeps me hoping for a better world, would be my choice.
And he wouldn't even have to learn any Dylan songs!

Frankly, I'm a little shocked. Either Bob is not aware of the Godzilla problem, or he just ain't scared of him. I hope you Aussies send him back to us in one piece.

The Giant Clams would not be so much of a problem, because Arlo still owns a clampoon.Assuming he could get it on the airplane, I think he could take care of himself. Trouble is, he don't own a Godzillapoon, and even if he did I don't think it would be of much use.

Hi everyone,

Looks like theres a few of us in the same boat - looking east to see when Arlo's a comin back to Aus, and getting by with a visit to His Bobness here in Brisbane next Monday night. I wonder if Bob will return the favour and do one of Arlo's ?? And I think if Arlo don't come back soon, we will have to make good on that threat of an Aussie pilgrimage to the Church.

We had a great experience in Tamworth (Australia's Nashville) a while back. Bro-in-law and I were working on a site installation there, we were in the motel restaurant having dinner along with sis in law. (All 3 of us had seen Alro at Roanoke VA on Sep 05 vacation). We couldnt help but hear the 4 young 20ish guys from a road construction gang at the next table - they were raving about this really cool dude they had seen on the Woodstock video. A bloke called Arlo something! So we introduced ourselves. They were amazed to hear that Alro was still alive and touring, couldn't believe that we all had seen him in VA, and a bit peeved that they had discovered him too late for the 04 Aus tour. So Live in Sydney played all over the motel for the rest of our stay, and they insisted on calling me Arlo from then on ,,,, lol.

Bye for now .... Dave

It sounds like there may be a movement brewing Down Under--the Brisbane Blunderites!

Eye hope the massacre movement is in the works here in the States, as long as Bush won't declare marshal law.
Eye still can't get anything eye really want here. Eye guess I will just have to keep playing Alice's Massacre and Coming into LA on these kool knew cd players at the Clubs, i travell around.
Though it has to be the right mood for Arlo's long song.
