Greetings gentlebeings - happy to have drifted to these parts, as it were. I've just finished a hopelessly amateurish, juvenile, inept and [insert your synonym of choice here] version of what happens to be one of my all-time favourite songs, and thought it would be appropriate to post the link here, if only to discover that by doing so I am messing with copyright laws and remove it from the server as soon as I am informed of the above, should that be the case. The caveats: it was concocted in a bedroom studio and sports a plethora of obvious blemishes production-wise as such, not to mention the state of my sinuses, which has obviously affected the singing to a certain extent, and my being an amateur musician in general (although I do mean to make it my main profession at some point, hopefully before I'm eligible for pension). I really don't know whether or not this is apropos, and I do hope I won't be considered a malicious spammer or an impertinent upstart eager to hitch a ride on somebody else's whatchamacallit for this reason. I have enjoyed doing it a great deal, and it's probably my best attempt of this sort to date. So yeah, any sort of feedback would be much appreciated, even if it amounts to nothing more than friendly advice to keep well away from sound-processing software and refrain from singing to boot. Thanks for the welcome. I am from Russia indeed, although given our government's policies concerning pretty much everything, that's hardly something to be proud of these days. I haven't heard any Kraftwerk in bloody ages, either - not that I miss them, mind

Where one is from doesn't matter so much as how one enjoys the music they create.

As for the Government of Russia, there could be worse. Even the U.S. Government has been know to make a bloody mess of things. Hmmm, the Constitutional set up of the American government isn't bad, its our self focused politicians which cause us grief.
