Hello everyone first time posting here! I've always wanted to see Arlo live and live in New York now. I was going to purchase tickets for the Carnegie Hall show but it seems it will be with a symphonic orchestra, I've got nothing against symphonic orchestras but since this will be my first experience seeing Arlo live I was wondering what this show entailed. Does anyone know whether he will be playing too? Thanks so much!

I've seen Arlo play with an orchestra before at Carnegie Hall. The show was wonderful! The orchestra played, Arlo played, and they played together. Listen to the new CD, In Times Like These for a preview. You'll enjoy it!

I'm not much on orchestrqa music but I've seen him with the orchestra a few times & he is great with them. I think he had tio plan a little more in advance what is gonna do due to the orchestra having to learn the songs but it still sounds as spontaneous. You will have a great time... :)

If you can still get tickets MOST DEFINITELY go to Carnegie Hall. When I discovered that Arlo was performing live with the U of Ky Symphony Orcherstra in Lexington, Ky there was NO DOUBT in my mind about making the 6-hour, 400 mile trip to hear "Times Like These" live. I know every note on that CD and to hear it live was spectacular. I still get teary-eyed when I recall the performance. I live west of Chicago and had already seen him in Elgin and Rockford and each show was great in it's own special way. GO - you will not be disappointed. Happy T-Day everyone !
