We just got a call from our niece in Columbus, OH saying that Mikes sister Phyllis has passed on. We are in total shock. So Mike & his family could sure use some prayers & vibes. We dunno if we'll get to go up there yet cuz the weather is too bad to drive that far west. We're gonna have to see if either of Mikes 2 brothers go & if they do try to hitch a ride with them. If they don't go then we may not get to go unless we can find real cheap flights on the cheap Skybus airline. I'm still dazed & can't believe it. If someone could tell Arlo about her that'd be great as he met her a few times at a few gigs...

Thanks so much for the wishes & support ya'll. I still can't believe it happened. Mike is holding up pretty well. I still dunno if we can get to Ohio yet as the weather gets bad furthur out west. She was only 68. She leaves behind a hubby, several daughters & a son & some grandkids. And one of her grandsons lived with them & was close to her. So sad...

Thanks for the prayers & vibes ya'll. Mike appreciates it. She had a massive heart attack & I still can't believe it even thos she had heart trouble & we knew she could go. We may not get to go. One of Mikes brothers is probably not going. The other one isn't sure if he is going ortoe not. If he does his son wants to go with him. If that's the case, then the sons wife & little boy would go with them, and maybe Mikes brothers wife. So no room for us. :( I checked into getting flights with the cheap Skybus airline, the bus & Amtrak. For the 2 of us to go via Skybus would be $500 some bucks. Bus for the 2 of us would be $300 some bucks & we can't afford either. Train does not go to Columbus, OH. Closest to there is Huntington, WV. It would be $244 for th4e 2 of us to go but they only have one departure & arrival time. Arrival time would be around 9:30 pm. It'd be kinda too much to have to have one of Mikes relatives from Ohio have to come all the way down there that time of night to get us. Yikes. We plan to go to town today as we had origionally planned to just try to get some sort of normalcy & take our minds off of things. Thanks for the prayers & vibes...

Sorry to hear of your lost. It's wonderful that so many people rally around people in need. I wish you were able to find a way to travel and be together. You are in my thoughts. Peace.

Thanks for the thoughts prayers & vibes everyone. Not sure if Mikes brothers are going but if so they probably won't invite us to go along. So sad. Our little 22 yr old nephew (Mikes sisters grandson) suggested that he & his girlfriend & his brother whose our nephew & in his 30's could come down & get us & take us there & back home. My mom suggested that wouldn't be a good idea cuz they have never driven here before & the weather could get bad leaving us all stranded somewhere. Whenever they've been down here it was always with Mikes sister or our niece Ava. So it looks like we won't get to go. We've decided on the day of her funeral to watch some old videos of her in memory of her. Mike sends his thanks too...
