It depends on what part of Virginia you're talking about. Down in the southern part of the state, it tends to be red...up here in No. VA it is overwhelmingly blue. Sometimes, the blue voters up here are enough to overpower the less populated red part of the state. Sometimes not. I suppose it just depends on how pissed off folks are, and whether they get off their butts and go vote. I think there's more pissed off folks up here... With our taxes from the more affluent northern part of the state, we pay for most of the roads and services that the southern part of the state gets, and we're told to go pound sand when WE need new roads and stuff. We desparately need light rail (Metro) from Tyson's Corner/Herndon-Reston area to Dulles Airport...and after being on the drawing board for twenty years, now the state people are dragging their feet and trying to cancel the whole project. I bet some city in the southern part of the state gets it, tho.

Hey I here a lot that Obama doesn't have many specifics. That just means that when he gets in we the people can tell him what we want.
Here is a link to a Man I think knows what is going on. It would be something we could tell Obama we want.

Oh what a cool blog Cheryl.
Thanks. I've been dreaming up mine in my head. Some place to post my writings about these times. Along with, now that I see you can put you tube stuff on them, post in my opinion some of the most important Rock videos of our time.

Oh, all right, I'm in the race. Not quite sure which race, but the race is on and this song by Kathy Mattea is one of my Theme Songs.

This is another theme song. Maybe when its all said and done, I may get to find time with some freemales. The reason that cost me the love of my life is the media-right storm over the TV.
Here is another theme song for the power broker I hope to be. Since there is no way to win White House, I will have to settle for a broker.

Oh, did I say all that other stuff on early posts? I must have been lying. But this Jim Croce song has been on my mind for years, so I my as well do something with it.

How will we ever get away from the giant military industrial complex we have been en-slaved to for so many years?
Though I have to guess that inch by inch, mile after mile, we are getting there, or at someone has been told that.
I want to see it on the TV, before I will believe its getting closer. When a man like McCain is put in his place for saying Americans don't care if the war goes on for a 100 years, a 1000 years or 10,000 years, then maybe we will be there...
