Post subject: My 10 year old son....

.... corrected me tonight when I was singing Moon Song. I sang "footprints ON the water" and he quickly let me know it was "footprints IN the water". So what does this mean? Is he more observant than I? Does he listen to the music more than I? Is my memory slowly destroying it's self with my advancing age? :)

Hugs
Jamie

Smart kid! Footprints in the water are hard to track, because they don't last long, and footprints on the water are hard to make, since it assumes that one can walk on water. I have actually spent a lot of time over the years walking and skating on water, being a hockey player and coach, but of course the water was frozen, so I don't think that counts.

But, if "Footprints in the water lead me back to where I am"........where am I? And where was I that I somehow got back to where I was anyway?
Does this mean I was traveling in place getting somewhere without moving?

So many questions.....so few brain cells......... :)

My oldest daughter corrected me once when she was about 10 years old. We were looking at an Easter card and it had a puppy and Easter eggs on it.

She said, oh look at the cute bunny! I told her, no Honey, thats a puppy, bunnies can't lay eggs.

She says, Mom.......puppies can't lay eggs either.

Must have been on of those crazy days!

You're right! I hope you're not a ten year old. I'd hate to be corrected by a ten year old too. I think they are taking over! :D besides.... I knew that! It was changed using the concept of smartass poetic licence by me to further my own agenda. :D

Is the brain cell where Bush locked up all the smart people so he wouldn't look quite so stupid? It didn't work.

The last time I saw the braincell it was rolling away south from the Church, stuck to a wheel on the Housatonic train.
