Nader has once again announced!

yeah, saw it on "meet the press". he looked pretty damned good for 74 years old and pretty strong and confident taking his stance. i was impressed, although i only see him as a necessary ingredient in the puzzle and not quite the solution. i believe his entering the race will literally pry the lid off this election and open it up to ron paul's 3rd party push in the end........

i guess we'll see.....

Eh, 2000 was years ago. The more the merrier as long as they all get in the debate with what others think needs to be in the debate of these complicated times.

......not to be rude larry, but what did he DO to "US" in 2000? he explained today on "meet the press" why it makes no sense to blame him for gore's loss against bush. he was NOT the spoiler everyone makes him out to be. check the facts. the real truth is that he even boosted gore's position and gore wouldn't have even come close without nader in the race. florida may have been corrupt, but it wasn't the reason he lost! just a thought. anyway, i voted for john hagelin!

Ralph Nader in the race? God help us.....were goin to need it.

It seems ok from here to get the debate raised about big business. None yet, have dared to talk about it. You hear talk of special interests. Yet some call those special interests Unions. I beg to differ.

What do you suppose would go down if something happened to McCain-he is pretty old ya know, and all this excitement might not be good for him.

Then it would be Ron Paul or Mike Huckabee against Hilary Clinton or Obama and all of them against Ralph Nader.

Now that would be an interesting debate and race!

By the time of McCains 50 year, 100 year, a 1000 year or 10,000 year statement: he is doomed come november. He will be lucky yo get 30% of the vote. Its all on u-tbube and will not be easy-for-gotten.

I tend to agree more with Ralph than with the other candidates! Of course he has the luxury of not being controlled by party politics.

It's not rude to speak(or write) your mind Rip! No problem here. I still think Ralph got more Gore votes than Bush votes, and may have slanted the election to the worst president in history. He's done a lot of good over the years, but......

Exactly. And the luxury of entering at what in this campaign is a late date. It's got to be easier when you can sidestep all the forces the other have to grapple with, but whoever wins will not be able to avoid them when in office, either. How they act in the crucible of election politics--the whole thing and not just "from the sidelines"--could be an indicator of how they might handle the forces exerted on the president. I cannot even imagine having to experience the forces pushing and pulling a president of (relatively) good character. It's been so long since we've seen such a phenomenon. ...

Nader is older than McCain.
