Thanks for the info! I want to go to the Kennedy Center show but not sure at this point about going. I don't like driving in DC & don't want to drive there. So I'd have to drive to the subway station in Springfield, VA & take the subway to the show. The problem is the subway ends to early at midenite Z& I'm afraid it might end before I was able to leave the Kennedy Center. Sigh. Unless I tried to hitch a ride with someone in the Northern Va area & met with them up there to go...

Here's a video I did up of a trip to the hillbilly area of KY Mikes from where we stayed at a fleabag hotel lol. This is from 1992...

Here is a clip from 4 guys from England who flew into America, sharing their love, with out the law. Its really an anti-revolution song, which took me decades to see as such. I like Jane Fonda, even if Lennon didn't. (Jane's workout tape in the 80's helped keep me in some form of shape, from my wild ways.

And yes, it is going to be alright.

Cheryl, that motel room was just about the grossest thing I've seen...it was worse than the many chihuahua-sized rats playing in the yard in broad daylight at that hotel in Durham! Especially that shower...ewwwwww! Sue

I agree with ya. I didn't shower in that place either. normally we would stay in this good Mom & Pop motel there but it was booked up. We had no idea how bad that place would be lol. The good Mom & Pop motel there has since closed up. We've now found a good Super 8 that we stay at whenever we go there. Now that I have the internet it helps me know what motels are in an area...

For anyone who cares to see....

Finally got around to updating my website a little, so I now have some of our professional wedding photos up. It still isn't even close to where I want it to be, but then... isn't a website always a work in progress?

Great photos--I think my favorite is the candid shot in the garden.

Too bad you two don't even like each other--it shows. I'm so very happy for you, Kim. When are you going to subject him to meeting ... er, I mean, introduce him ... to the Blunderites?

I haven't figured out when I'm going to drag him along to meet everyone yet. He does know about you all - sort of. He knows there's this bunch of people I'm friends with on-line, and that I've met here and there IRL too, and that we all have something to do with Arlo. And he knows a few of Arlo's songs - he's been known to go around the house singing "City of New Orleans" from time to time, with a few wrong words here and there. Though I think he's actually more familiar with Willie Nelson singing it than Arlo, but, hey, he knows the song.

It'll just depend on when we can manage to fit it in. The biggest problem is the fall church shows always fall right around his birthday. Since I'm usually trying to find something I know he likes to treat him with, and he hasn't done the whole "Blunderite" thing before, I hate to make that his birthday "treat".

So, we'll have to see what we can work out....
