I support my country's authority and interests, in that the only legitimate and legal authority our government has is conferred by the will of the people, and the only legitimate and lawful interests of our government are, by definition, the interests of the people (not the corporations). Everything our executive branch of government has done since January 20, 2001, has been extralegal, as it was done by an executive not elected according to law.

Some people think that if you don't support the leader of our nation you are not a patriot.

To them I say that if I have to be a supporter of w to be a patriot, then I don't want to be a patriot.

Those people don't know very much, do they? Our founders weren't supporters of their legal leader--the other King George--they were patriots of a new kind, and built a new country, where that's not what being a patriot is about.

I'd like to be a Patriot, but Football would really mess up my back, and neck.

I consider myself a patriot. I discuss my country, its people, its strengths and weaknesses openly both with other US citizens and when I am speaking to those of other citizenship. I fly the US Flag and am proud of the people in my family and community who have served it. And I think George and his crew have disgraced the very ideals this country stands for and should step down from the leadership roles they have been playing at!

the United Nations has declared the Iraq invasion illegal. The best... in my mind we can hope for is for them to come arrest Bush on 1-20-09. But I will hope for better conditions than the 1.2 million starving in an Israeli jail today.
Israel has broken over 70 U.N. resolutions. Yet still call them selves children of Abraham, while too... having a Bomb Abraham would not have dropped on Sodom. The ones who support Israel right now are wrong, yet may be where we get to the core roots of lots of the terrorism.

Wow, I like the w memorial idea. I can see them poping up all over the countryin various ways.
