Overall in my own opinion the Walk is not about Arlo, its about finding a cure and helping people who have HD. I would go anyway if Arlo or even the English Prime Minister was not present at these kind of functions. It is for a worthy cause out of the goodness of heart. I am not trying to be blunt, just giving my two cents worth.

Yeah... The HD Walk is not about any one person - it's about everyone who can help. I've tried to be there every year, sometimes with musical events at the church during the same weekend. This year I'm catching a plane for Australia on May 18th, so I won't be able to be at the Walk.

I'm hoping that a whole lot of people will show up and cover for me :)

Aside from being helpful, the walk is one of the most fun events we do at the church. The spirit is healing in and of itself. Please try to attend and join in the spirit of the day. And eat a bit of everything along the way for me :)

It's also very important to keep Louise and the other BlunderersDownUnder from having extreme Arlo withdrawal!

We can't make the trip to the HD walk from Texas, but it's not too early to be making pledges. Who needs sponsors?

Thanks for the reply--yes, most importantly it is about helping everyone that needs our help and how we can help. It is alot of fun and the weather is getting nicer out so a nice long walk will be great.

So many fan's look forward to seeing you~~ It is another reason for me to take a night off and go see you at the Guthrie Center this summer if I can. I will see you in Lowell- I bought two ticket's---so announce "the price is right..Andrea Jackson come on DOWN".

I just heard from Lisa and Abe will be there and the rest of the gang**
I'll take plenty of picture's~~ I'll send copies to Lisa for the web site
and George- for the church photo album. I will send copies to Jackie
and you can keep them. :D

Enjoy your trip~~ Gotta RUN

Andrea Jackson :o
A.k.a. applesauce and bug's on a log.

It's worth going to...if I can swing it with what's going on here in VA, I'll be there, and it's a 400 mile drive for me just to get there.
And it's not about Arlo...yeah, he dumped the garbage forty some years ago, but he doesn't have to be there for it to be a fun event. I'm looking forward to it, and I hope we raise LOTS of money for HD !
If you can't go, I'm betting all of you can still help by making a donation to the HD walk!

Oops, hope I didn't sound like I thought the event was about Arlo cuz it's not. I was just afraid there might be some folks who might not be interested in coming now that Arlo wasn't gonna be there & I wanted to encourage those who can make it to go & have a good time... :)

sad to say i won't be able to make it this year either due to our anniversary falls on that weekend, but i may just park BooBoo Bug there so part of the flashback is there to make enough of a presence to make up part of the scenery. wish you all the best for the weekend, will greatly miss you all this trip 'round.
will be thinking of ya's while out in Salem honeymooning our 11th year.
peace and love to all of my extended family there on festivities and to those in blunder land who will be there in spirt that won't be able to make it out there either this year. peace, freaky

I plan to attend, I've only missed one year so far. Perhaps we could extend the walk just a wee bit and walk to Australia so we could all meet up with Arlo? I mean we don't have to go the long way, AROUND the globe! If we went through the center of the earth, it would only be about half as far, and when we got half way,to the planets fiery core, we could see what progess is being made on the Bush and Cheney presidential and vice-presidential libraries?
