I think I saw Joe Cocker at an adg show in San Fran around 79. ADG said he couldn't sing that night and brought out his friend Joe; I don't think it was Walsh. People at the VFW here in Littleton said I lucked out. The other Christian I was with wanted to hear adg up on the stage screaming about the Lamb.

I think of the strangest things but I was thinking of a time long ago (35 years maybe) and I remember I had these blue pills (wrote of this before here I think) and They were not that good and so I did excess with my friends and we were riding to the show in a slight storm with the lightening and stuff and it was definitely going to rain and then we were laughing and stuff heading into the arena and we headed down as close as we could get and we were laughing and smiling and doobies seemed endless and somebody said jump and I did and I ended up next to a dude pointing a spotlight and the lights went down and the smiley part ended ad the music started and there were visions of color and the excess number of pills helped and I was properly medicated as Little Feat started and I was kicking pretty good and I was right there with every note you know, feeling it in my soul and stuff and it seemed to short when the lights came on and I could not look at my friends without a bit of edgey feeling and I looked forward to the lights dimming and out came Traffic and I remember shoot out and glad and freedom rider and I remember this song about low sparks the most as My Head hit the right spot at the right time and I don’t know it was quite cozmic and I remember walking through the still wet post rain reflecting parking lot and getting into Tim’s 57 chevy and the tinted windows shining so many colors as the cars passed with their headlights and then we realized we were the only ones left and then we realized that the headlights wouldn’t turn on (it was a bunch of kids in a 57 chevy in 73 or 74 or so) and we had to ride back to southside OKC with the headlights out….hanging out the windows with the reflection of the water on the street creating all kinda rainbows in my mind and heading for the side streets where we decreased our susceptibility to questions by those who would inquire and I remember we made it all the back to 55th and Penn when the engine died and there we were pushing that 57 back behind the Twilight Club (tim’s aunt’s honky tonk that he lived behind) and getting the car back behind there with all those drunk old men whooting at us and yelling stuff about our long hair and tim’s aunt telling them to leave us alone and getting into the trailer finally and pulling out the bong

so i decided i wanted to go and check out some more museums, it had been a while and i always loved all those crystal formations so off i go and as i emerge from the station i see there are events all along the mall?...and the very first sign i see says "TEXAS" and the one next to it says "DANCE HALL". ?? well anyhow i went over and looked and after much deliberation i think i now have some idea what is a polka! ?

...depends on the polka! Irish polkas aren't like the regular twirl-in-a-circle ones. Well, you could dance them like that, but it would have to be really, really fast, and it would be very funny to watch, and I'd want to take pictures!
