Rest in Peace Jerry. The convoy slowing down to a crawl is going to make you all smile at us from up there.

I believe Mike has a copy of that on an album. Here is one of him doing a Jim Croce song. I found it on You Tube & it is really good...

Not a songwriter, but a writer of just about everything else... Michael Crichton died today. Most of you will recognize his name as the author of Jurassic Park and the creator of the TV show ER. Long before either of those, he wrote a compelling story on legalizing abortion, called A Case of Need, under the pen name Jeffery Hudson. It's since been reprinted under Crichton's own name. He also wrote Andromeda Strain, an autobiography called Travels, 5 Patients, and the most recent one that I can recall is Next, the book I was reading last year when we began playing Blunder Jeopardy. He was a medical doctor and hid his writing... he only became an MD to have something to "fall back on" if he couldn't make a living from writing.
