Here is one Rod Stewart song which back in the late 1980's kept my mind open to a higher love, than I had read about in the Bible, and what preachers preached.

I wish we could hear this kind of stuff from the tv today.

Some cool stuff y'all are sharing.
This one strikes me as important,
well done, loud and clear.

(That was good for an angry laugh Shas.)

Just another Stewart song which blows away Dylan's version. Its along the lines of Kathy Mattea's Asking Us to Dance. I do believe it is how the powers far above us feel about this whole planet.

But is scares me that I just saw a poll where 63% thought McCain would do better on the economy. If those on the right behind him don't start singing this kind of stuff, instead of the warmongering they are clearly doing now, they may end up with a Very Rude Awakening for about 5 months.

The British 60's group the Tremeloes do a beautiful version of Dylan's "I Shall Be Released":

Grocery Store Blues with the Moppets and things. (Though I was meaning to post Arlo's Prologue, which can't now be embeded, which gets me mad...) I just hope this Blues song makes it out to help start some kind of movement or such along with his unemployment line song.

I know its going to take the 50 million without health care to make a dent for all. But I'm sort of caught in the middle with an income/which has health care too. (though the co payment for medicare will have to wait until things are fixed.)

I'd never heard of them before so I Googled them. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Can_(band) Bet the reason I never heard of them before was they're German. Pretty neat video. I like watching neat 60's & 70's vids.
