I'm late in posting, but...Happy Belated Thanksgiving everyone. The kids (5 and 3) were introduced to Alice's Restaurant-the movie-this year (they've heard the song countless times before)...We were stuffed and yes, had a Thanksgiving that couldn't be beat

I'm late, too. To much stuff going on. But still I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving weekend and all is well.

I hope everybody had a blunderful Thanksgiving! Mine was definitely different. I celebrated down on the island of Antigua with some very interesting folks, where I've been for the past 3 weeks (in case anyone missed me). As an alcohol and drug addiction counselor, I've gotten involved with Eric Clapton's Crossroads Centre Antigua recovery organization over the past few years, and was invited down to help them celebate their 10th anniversary. We had a Thanksgiving dinner of grouper, snapper and mahi-mahi with all the tropical fixin's (that couldn't be beat). Eric is an extremely down to earth and humble man, who was also celebrating his 21st year clean and sober. He told me that he loves Arlo's work. I played 'Darkest Hour' for him, which he said was his favorite Arlo song.
I'm really glad to be home, and I'm sorry I missed Thanksgiving with all of you. I missed everyone alot---my Blunderite family has become very important to me, and I am very thankful for all of you.....

Now that truly must have been a Thanksgiving that couldn't be beat--or at least, couldn't be matched! We did, indeed, miss you and your on-target repartee. Welcome home!

^ one of the best double features I wood ever hope to see in a theater ... I have a pipedream about having a drive-in theater, and showing stuff like that all the time ... TWO LANE BLACKTOP and THE GETAWAY wood be a nice one, too.

Another Thanksgiving come and gone and the tradition lives on! As a family who's members now span the globe, every year without exception Thanksgiving is spent together. Having spent the majority of our "formative" years becoming older persons learning about life through the adventures found with life in Western Massachusetts Arlo's "Alice's Restaurant and the singing of the massacree as a family on Thanksgiving Day at very lease once (with feeling) can not be skipped.
Without fail everyone, no matter what life is handing us all, ear to ear smiles pack the room by the singing of the last chorus.
Now, with children, parents and grand parents singing at the top their voices it is a practice that I am confident will continue.
Thanks Arlo for adding a little piece to all of us with the warmth and smiles you have brought us with your song. Happy Thanksgiving a bit delayed from our family to yours!
