Well, I couldn't agree with you more about the state of our nations health care, but I believe that most of the problem with _that_ was started by Mrs. Clinton. I have to admit though I stopped following that some years ago as it just depressed the He double hockey sticks out of me.

I don't know... What about obsessive love, I don't think that's so good. I've recently encountered a person with this affliction, and it's really not good at all.

Obsessive love is not Love in its true sense.

Under the old rubric that love is a verb, doing it badly is always possible. Sorta like justice except you will find love in nature.

So is it worse or better to be loved badly or hated competently? These days it depends on which side of the Title VII suit you are on I guess.

My Dad and I don't always agree, but we're on the same page, that Obama has some great ideas, in making the US of A a better place all around... I never thought I'd hear my Dad admitt it, but he's very much into the stock market, and thinks in a couple yrs. that will turn around.. And no one can be credited more than Obama...

But it's a free country, last time I knew, so everyone is subject to they're own opinions....

My wife Sue is very active in human rights, being Native American, and she told me at lunch, that anyone reading that someone lost a job because they had an Obama bumper sticker, would have a great case in court.... Lost wages, unfairness of losing a job... the list goes on...

Back in the day, umm, three wars ago, my Dad and I were having the daily argument at the dinner table about VietNam. He was saying we should invade the North. I told him that would pull the Chinese in and start WWIII. He said that maybe what we really needed was another world war.

At which point, my Mother said quietly, "But dear, we only have one left."

Really, I thought Mrs. Clinton merely underestimated the forces of the Health Care Industrial Complex and that the Clinton Administration ran out of political inertia once they realized what she was getting into; Ill-concieved employer-based health care (I thought) was a remnant of Union Bargaining gone astray from a previous era! I never could understand why it is called "free-market health care" or why conservatives cling to it so doggedly? I guess non-free-market health care is just a good thing to point a finger at and yell SOCIALISM!

In fact, with the exception of a few fact finding excursions, she really didn't do anything when it was all said and done?

She certainly created a HUGE mess where I work, everybody excitedly hopped and bowed to do what she wanted. Though that is partly because she showed up to "help out" with the institution of her plan. We are still feeling the effects of that plan of hers. Just my observation.
