This may sound somewhat a bit on the silly side to most but I had a strange thing happen with my Ipod the other day. While driving from Baltimore to Frederick Maryland the other day I had the Ipod hooked up to the radio and was listening to my usual mix of music when Arlo came on. So while I was enjoying his song I was thinking about what he was talking about in the last show I had seen him in when he was talking about Dylan and song writing and how he asked Dylan to throw him a hit now and then. So as the song ended wouldn't you know it the next song that came up was a Dylan tune and strange enough arlo was back on. Believe it or not the songs just kept shuffleing between Arlo and Dylan for the remainder of the trip to my hotel. Now I know I have quite a few albums from both of them on my Ipod but I have hendreds of other songs from numerous other artist on it as well. When I got to my hotel room I shut the thing off and back on again and I couldn't make it happen again. Seems lame but I thought it a bit funny at the time...

Sounds perfectly natural to me.....I don't believe in coincidences anyway. You and your ipod were probably just tuned into a kind of twilight zone of cosmic harmony and consonance for a bit of celery time. Smoke 'em while you got 'em!!!

We are all connected.

Even our ipods occasionally link to the ether.

They want to be like us.

I'll will go with what Larry said and say the thing is f'd up. But then again who knows could be some far away source from another place in time. You know like a parallel universe or something. Hmm this could get very deep. Larry, I will go along with what you said..

Yeah, but even if Larry's right, the ipod being f'd up could still be part of the plan......on a deeper and stranger level, Larry being right could be part of the plan......

I've read that some of them newer Ipods have a feature where they sense your brain waves and play what you wish to hear or what you might be thinking about. George W. Bush had one that only played static by the way.........

In Bush's case, I'm really hoping that ignorance is only temporarily bliss.....

I'm thinking that maybe Bush was using the IPod for grammer lessons.....Must of been a poor student because I never could make 2 cents out of what he was saying.

It's the approaching transit of the Earth into the plane of the galactic black hole. Time speeds up. Change comes fast. All the connections are revealed. Aliens contact us.

They promise world peace, an end to hunger, cures for all diseases and a case of Guitar Honey for every guitar player on the planet.

One problem: all they want is the recipe for Coca Cola.

well, i've never listened to songs like "gates of eden" sung by arlo without thinking he sounds just like dylan so i think arlo and bob are cosmo link brothers although i think arlo is the smarter one...lol plus he actually answers my questions here even when it seems like non-answers (lol) nut it still shows he's connected to us and i don't really think once dylan hit the big time, he wasn't connected with his fans. that's one thing i admire about arlo. after 40+ years, he still is down to earth and based in reality since his version (or virgin as he slipped and said thursday night in baton rouge...lol) of reality seems to have stayed firmly planted in the ground with his values and principles.
