A true trip around the Moebus Strip... someone really sat down and thought that through and back again.

We've been debating the worth of some of what the webGen produces music wise and other wise. I pushed that URL over there as an example of wise. Thanks DRR.

Len,
Can we talk about what you are going through? It is ok if you choose not to.

Sure we can, DRR. Just don't expect me to be the expert. I only actually understand two things: "a whalin' song and a good guitar", and I'm not nearly as expert with that second one as I'd like to be.

I assume you are talking about my treatments for cancer. If otherwise, say. A sociopath friend of a friend called me up the other night to tell me a lot of gore about chemo. I'd like to not get more frightened or wretch in the office. I can write because, well, I'm the boss and have 'people'. Otherwise, I'm happy to share. My rule is simple: don't break faith with those who have not broken faith with you.

Arg, when ye say whailn' do ye mean at sea then?

A Whalers Tale

I signed aboard this whaling ship
I made my mark it's true
And I'll serve out the span of time
I swore that I would do
But I'll not man your boats again
Though you cast me in the sea
For I tell you sir, them fish can think
As well as you or me

Just yesterday the lookout's call
Had bent us to our work
I took me place like all the rest
I'd not be one to shirk
Now thirteen men's been drownded
And no more of them we'll see
I'd take an oath, them fish can think
As well as you or me

We'd pulled our boats abreast the pod
The steersman took his stand
He'd had no time to make his throw
When the oar flew from my hand
Just then a great fluke smashed our boat
The whale I didn't see
Now I believe them fish can think
As well as you or me

For then them whales destroyed our boats
They rammed them one by one
They stove them all with head and fluke
And after they was done
We few poor souls left half-alive
Was clinging to debris
I'd stake me life them fish can think
As good as you and me

Ha. Sorry. I'm guessing not that kind of whaling.

If you do want to talk about it, what kind of cancer are you being treated for?

Ken Graydon...

The best of the worst has quite a positive connotation. DLBCL? Localized?

Today I heard that outside of a dog, books are a mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read.

Here is a true story. At a gathering of friends many years ago, I asked, "If mans best friend is a dog, what is womans best friend?" Without hesitation my friends wife exclaimed, with a straight face, "shower massage."

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Many of the young people of today do get the message of those that came before them and they give us hope for a better future...

They are more in tune than the main stream media would have us believe.

Non-localized so DLBCL. From what I know so far, CHOP therapy.

Since I only have today, I think I'll go hang out with *my* wife's best friend. 8) As lifetime lover and friend, I found some more friends for her and we get together and relax.

Attitude and cookies...

Sounds like a fun day.

Before you start the CHOP make sure you have the Zofran and medicinal in hand. Stay ahead of the curve.

Best wishes and good luck,

Doug

Hey Len. Can't give you any details but my better half's boss was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's a few years back. In part of his therapy, he went through chemo, had some of his own cells removed, had his bone marrow zapped and then reintroduced his cells to regenerate the marrow. He's doing fine now, with no signs of recurrence. May you fare as well or better.

"I don't care if it's dark or scary long as I got magnetic mary..."

BTW:

What are the ranks that appear above our names/handles? I am A "SeniorNetizen". Does this mean I get to buy off the AARP list at Alice's Restaurant? By what property do those ranks change? Just curious.

What is the story of Blunder and why is it iconic or a trope?
