I don't know either, I can't figure out that conservative mentality of give the rich people all the money and let them take care of us coupled to bizarre off the wall comments about daddy leaving and cheerio's and frasier and shit but to other points made here, this has nothing to do with Veterans not getting proper care and everything to do with a poorly devised and structured health care program in America that (again I don't understand why) conservatives defend as if changing it were some devious communist plot... The point is, that if you never actually attempt to accomplish anything and just sit around criticizing, then you will never getted blamed for false starts and creative approaches that don't stand the test of scrutiny. You can just sit back and point your finger and attack or insult people into submission.

I thought this was about Vet's, health care and costs. Now it has been clearly demonstrated that we can developed standardized protocols and procedures that can pull dismembered and burnt humans from a battle situation and a preserve their life. Nobody wants to include it in the budget (not Obama alone but dating back into the Bush Administraion where the emphasis was blowing people up so we could demonstrate how successful we have become at preserving life once it has been blown to bits). So we want socialized medicine for Vets but not the rest of the population because we (as a country) choose to put them in situations where they have an increased probability of getting blown to bits and requiring extensive and expensive medical care.

So then the rhetoric begins and everybody wants to contribute to the arguement. Then everybody is blah blah blahing. Some want to contribute and some just want to distort and confuse. Everybody wants to forward some agenda or others. SOme want systems to work and some want systems to fail....and most of us are left with the feeling of being

I killed a wolf once, when I was 14 yrs. old. I stalked the thing, for over a mile, and got lucky, it let it's guard down & I dropped it dead... ( wolves used to eat and harass my Uncles sheep )... I got a $25.00 bounty and 50 bucks for the hide... Allot of $$$ in 1970..... But I got rid of all my guns. I dought anything of substance will come outta our troops paying for they're own medical bills. I can see Canada out my back door ( not to sound like Palin ) but I drewl over the socialized medicine they have. You get sick, you see a Dr. the same day, and it cost you NOTHING> whey the states can't follow suit is beyond the scope... Drs. don't make the 100's of millions of dollars in Canada, but they make enough to be a millionaire in 10 short yrs. My brother Tommy is a Dr. In Montreal, and lives in Greenfield Park.... Not shabby, but even he, regrets the Viet Namn war & having to cross that bridge, when he coulda made a ton of more money here in the states..
