Imagine going from producing a record for the likes of Lennon, to being behind bars, for murder.... And what doe's it mean, 15 - life, but 3 yrs. for killing someone with a gun? that confused the shit outta me. but i've been know to missunderstand media reports before/ any suggestions?

Spector's been a nutcase for a long long time from what his various bios say. I'm glad that this time fame and money couldn't get away with murdering a woman.

I remember he was married to one of the Ronettes & was mean to her. If I was her, I would've left him much sooner than she did...

But then again, maybe the death penalty, would be too good, for a man that thinks he can over power a women with a gun.... Starring at those 4 walls, will certainly drive a man insane.**** I did 3 wks (21 days) of solitary before, and if not for a kind C.O. that kept me buried in Stephen King, I'd still have some cobwebs... ( and that was county time. so no how was big N8 or Bubba jokes...

But with that said, it goes against my grain. My Dad's 87 yrs. young. He's always joked, 'I wanna die in my sleep".. It's always been my opinion, death should be stared at in the face....

I have to agree with ya. Ya know the old saying if ya do the crime you gotta pay the time...

I dunno. Never have believed in killing anybody. The death penalty seems especially bad to me in light of the recent release of several people with the advent of DNA in the justice system. Is even one innocent person's life worth the satisfaction of killing thousands of people that were guilty?

Hindsight is 20/20... But a true penence for Spectors Guilty rap of 2cond degree murder, would be, as RS mag issue 1078 (May 14th) describes. He's currently in an orange jump suit and isn't allowed any type of CD players, or music devices to listen to tunes... When he gets sentenced, and goes to State Prison he will have access to a CD player... ( lucky guy )

He's simply flabberghasted a jury could find him guilty...
