I am knowing whereof you are speaking. I used to get so upset at stuff that went on at work and for what. I couldn't change it so why waste the energy being upset. But it IS hard not to be sometimes. But now that I'm no longer employed I have a lot less to be upset about. It is what it is.

Well Cheryl they are - on the Motor Cycle album at least - Terry, Jerry Chamberlain, Greg Flesch, Tim Chandler and Ed McTaggart. I think Tim played with the 77's at one time - probably wrong about that. And I'm pretty sure they have had personnel changes over the years.

No worries agnes, losing a job due to a reduction in force after 34 years is no biggie - which surprises me as much as it most likely does you. I'm actually glad I was the one fired as the stress I'd be under if I was still there would be tremendous. The company cut 58 people total across the country. No, they are just as busy this year as last and the year before that. They are using the economy as an excuse, but the facility I worked at had suffered no significant loss in work load. The only hting that makes sense to me is the owners are trying to make it look as profitable a possible so they can sell it off. The owners - 3i Infotech - do software; the co. I worked for - Regulus - doesn't - they do statement mailing and remittance processing.

Pushing someone out of the mud - gracious; an undertaking sure to leave one muddy, but happy to have helped out eh? Always liked Ride Captain Ride - a good solid tune that. I saw some of the coolest leaves this week during my walk - the deepest ruby red (not unlike the color of the gem that was stolen from the Indian princess by a scoundrel of a thief but that's another story) - absolutely beautiful.

What Who song would that be Cheryl? Happy Jack perhaps? On the 77's - got to see them last year around the first of July (same place I saw Terry Taylor actually). It was Mike Roe, Dave Leonhardt, Bruce Spencer and Mark Harmon. Got to talk with Dave and Mark a bit, said howdy to Mike even though I REALLY wanted to talk to him, but was concerned about coming off like a 14 year old googly eyed fan so I left it at a 'thanks for coming" and cut my losses. First time for me to see them. They did some tunes from their newest album (at the time) Holy Ghost Building. Hey Cheryl you ought to check out the Daniel Amos web site. They have a real good history of the group which would probably bring back some stuff for you perhaps. I'm pretty sure it's just http://www.danielamos.com. They've updated the site - no more big happy Sun - but easier to get around I 'spect.

on one of my more recent walks along the water i saw a bat flying to and fro dipping into the water taking sips...right in the middle of the afternoon! and thought how cute to see him up getting a "middle of the night" drink of water. after his thirst was quenched i watched him fly back to bed.

That is indeed unusual although I 'spect it's still warm enough where you are that they haven't started to hibernate yet. Ornery little critters though. I found one one time while helping a friend who was the caretaker at a Girl Scout camp near here while we were taking down tents for the season. It was under the fly sleeping. Got some gloves and picked it up which startled it. I could just feel it's fangs through the glove. Tried to keep a gentle yet firm hold so I could release it a ways away. It was successful and I suffered no ill effects. You're in Maryland yes?
