After sitting on a young lady's lap I was told I have a very bony tush - no padding you see. And I ain't showin' it to just anybody either so there.

Cheryl: good to hear your mom is doing okay. Hoping for improvement every day. Arlo and KFC what a combo! I think the best thing I ever won - at the time anyway - was a Rolla Bowla ball and a Duncan Yo-Yo. Still have the yo-yo although haven't had it out for a couple of years.

Hope everyone that celebrated yesterday had a good time with good friends and family (as opposed to bad friends anyway).

(tee-hee)

oh hey, is it a glow in the dark duncan yo-yo?

i once sent away ten kool-aid packs and got a glow-in-the-dark monkees frisbee (nothing at all distinguished it as a monkees frisbee other than the enclosed circular paper insert) but "kool-aid" was cast in the mold.

Unfortunately it was not a glow-in-the-dark yo-yo. It was - and still is - a translucent ruby red. Not the original string though. I've went through 3 or 4 of those critters. I've got a butterfly Duncan also which is red/yellow/white. Never could do many tricks. Walk the dog and occasionally around the world. Mostly down/up and out/in. Had the red one with me when I graduated high school - a fun day that was.

And just what are we laughing at young lady??? Hmmmm??? :)

Cheryl, you should have gotten one of those Monkees frisbee. You would have been stylin' then eh? If I remember Davey was your favorite yes? Did you follow Mike's career much after the group split?

i can be a tad goofy sometimes i guess...?

the weather can be interesting this time of year. i mean, even on a day that is very warm (like yesterday) once the sun begins to go down the temperature can drop quite a bit as well...yet there are still remaining pockets of warm air here and there...anyway, while on a walk yesterday i happened to notice a great mammoth bright orange spider! i mean BRIGHT orange like hunter orange! i never saw one like it! and i am there looking at it and i know the spider has noticed me as it has stopped crawling (and i am sure he has eyes in the back of his head) when a jogger approaches so i point the spider out and say, "don't step on it!" and she is like, "wow, cool!" and this other guy has just pulled into his driveway and has lifted his bike out and i go over and say, "there is a big orange spider over there!" "oh yeah?" "yeah!!....you wanna go look at it???" "sure!" and he is like, "wow, very cool..." and we are saying stuff...
i wish i'd brought my camera with me though...i tried finding a picture on the internet but can not find one like this...
maybe i need to look under "brazilian death spiders" or "top ten deadliest spiders"! (it is my hope of course that i am just kidding)!

but anyway...
i wondered when i would ever find a clip of this. i remember seeing it on that vision shared doco.
just made me smile!
