Every day if I have anything to contribute.

Since Arlo kicked us all off his Facebook friends page, we'll have to bring it all here again.

In Arlo's defense, Face Book is a pain in the butt! It's so filled with clutter: "Bob just added a barn to his farm!" or "Marie just sent you an invitation to Smelly Fish World." Geesh! Get a life! Then the posts like, "Tired.....going to bed now." "Hungry. Getting something to eat." It's like being on the phone with my cousin in Albany!

The last decade is all part of the fruits of billions of our tax dollars going to fund Israel's war machine.

:o NO???

My guess was it's a pain to keep up two FB pages and explain why some get to be on one and not the other.

BTW: feeding people is cool. Good on ya, slinger!

Larry, I figure you're working hard enough as it is. I hardly see you anymore. And...everyone's job is not really secure. It's really only a temporary assignment. I'd say you're doing fine ("You're doing fine!" says Ron).

President's can be tempted to war, but Congress has to agree or it doesn't - or at least isn't supposed to - happen. Mr. Bush made a serious mistake in taking out Saddam the way we did. I think it was down right stupid. Was Saddam an evil man? YES! Should we have committed our armed forces to get rid of him? My gut feeling is NO! If it was important for US - meaning the U.S. - to deal with him why wasn't it approached in a clandestine manner? No commitment of troops, no large expenditures and no waste of lives. Simplistic; yes. I don't have all the answers, but I sure have a lot of questions.

Now Mr. Obama is dealing with that blunder and I figure he's doing the best he can. I only hope he and Congress can extricate us from this endeavor in a timely fashion.

I don't know, I'm just a bonehead (or just a singer in a rock and roll band - whichever comes first)

You're already on the bench as far as I can see.

Didn't mean for folks to think the moderators were slacking off. They & you do a good job of keeping things going around here... :)

"When the world gets weird, the weird go pro." I read that somewhere. :P

Me self, I oscillate between rant and humor and can't tell the difference anymore as Obama goes to accept a peace prize while sending 40k more troops to win a war for which no one has a clear definition of winning.

At least with giant clams, we had clampoons, sharp sticks and linguini.

As a Pastafarian, I must correct you. That's "Flying Spaghetti Monster" (or "FSM" for short).

At least a Flying Spaghetti Monster can be trapped in chicken wire. Reuben Flannigan tells me there is no defense against giant clams, but then I consulted a higher authority (at least, he appeared to be in the video) and he said clampoons and sharp sticks worked for the settlers. He even had props.

Now does climate change favor or hinder clam growth? (trying to get back to topical tropical issues).
