There I was minding my own business, when this song started playing in my head.

Hammond Song (the Roches)

This isn't the best recording of it, but the only U-tube one with the Roches singing.

Happy Friday!

The Hollies "Bus Stop" has been stuck in my head for a couple of days for some reason. Check out the hair-dos on some of the straight 60s chicks! Not to mention a couple of early pics of Graham Nash!

At least they're like real songs. For the past two days I keep hearing myself singing 1-800-MATTRES

That's too funny Diane. :)

The ones I don't like are the songs that get stuck on a loop in your head and you don't like the tune - but you can't get it out of your head (shades of Jeff Lynne)

Ron, since I read your last post in "...your favorite line", the song "Bird on the Wire" has been stuck in my head!
Luckily, I like this song:)

This is probably not the forum for the song that's been in my head for a couple of weeks now, but what the heck. I can't post the link, but go to youtube and put "I Like Guns" in the search bar.

I've even written a 4th verse:

I really like my Cowboy guns,
My '47 Walker and my Navy '51
My 44-40 its fast as a snake,
My 10 gauge Greener starts a small earthquake.

I think it makes the song a perfect gun song, but Steve hasn't felt obliged to include it. :P

Pulp, what thinks a person can like folk songs and guns and still not be a threat to others.

Cecile, I'm am glad it was one you liked. I am particularly fond of the Neville Bros. version. That Aaron certainly can sing!

Wow, I never considered that you might not have heard of them.
Hope you enjoyed that song! I don't think they tour any more.
