Will there be a cd release of the Guthrie Family Tour show recorded live?

I just saw the Guthrie Family Rides Again show last night in Atlanta, and everyone was so wonderful. We all had a great time.

I think Arlo said something about Jackie filming some stuff for a dvd. When that will be out and if there will be a cd, I dunno. Welcome to the site. It's fun here...

The March 1st Newberry, SC show was recorded. Curious as to whether any or all of the Va shows were also recorded. A dvd of the family tour is a must have. But I'd really like an autobiography whether it be print or a dvd recording. Arlo must have an incredible number of stories. Family stories from childhood, the 1968 Chicago Democratic convention and more. I'd really like to know what he thought of Jerry Rubin, Abbie Hoffman and the others.

Arlo talked like Jackie was recording some of the shows. I saw her in the wings recording. I recorded a couple vids of a few songs. I need to get them on YouTube. He was playing autoharp and I just had to have a vid of that...

The autoharp, I remember when Annie, I think, had that out at the beginning of the show, and we were trying to remember what that instrument was called, and we still didn't know until Arlo asked her for it later. I hadn't seen one in a long, long time.

I'm so disappointed! I tried to buy tickets for the show near Memphis on the day they were available, and the show sold out in an hour!

Man, that's a bummer. I think they need a bigger venue then...

Yes, it was small, 350 seats and the people who are members (own season passes, that type of thing) got first crack at advance tickets. It's in Bartlett Tennesse, a rather fancy suburb of Memphis.
After I found out that Arlo was sold out I checket out the show in St. Louis, which would have been an overnight trip. Same thing, sold out.
Too bad Arlo isn't going to be in Memphis in May. It's a 3 day music fest of all kinds of music in down town Memphis.

Autoharp is a very fun and cool instrument, and with the electronic tuners, not hard to keep in good tune anymore. You can fingerpick fiddle tunes or just strum along to your favorite songs, and it's not difficult ! if you can walk and chew gum at the same time, you can play autoharp!

Yep, Sue is right about the autoharp and she's our autoharp expert. It's a fun instrument to play and easier to play than a guitar...
