well i thought the instrument the one guy was playing was kind of interesting...looked to be made almost entirely of fimo and sequins, but is anything but!

That's Roy ("Future Man") Wooten. The instrument is his own design and called a "drumitar". It has all these velocity sensors (touch pads) on it and is hooked into a unit with digitally sampled drum/percussion sounds. Way cool! His brother, Victor, plays bass in the group (The Flecktones"). Great group. I've seen them about four or five times and they are always a-freakin-mazing.

i imagine they would be a lot of fun to see! i have known of them (collectively) only for a relatively short while but will i think eventually become a little more familiar with them...but anyway, yeah!
