Does anybody here use Audacity? It's a great multi-track recorder. It can be used for long distance jamming too! I have some recordings of my friend in New Orleans, my son in Mobile, and me and Rhododendron jamming. It's not like being in the same room, but you would be surprised at what you can do. Now after all that...the reason I am mentioning it here is...you can also record anything you can hear on your computer...GREAT for all these cool links!

Thanks everybody for all the great information!!! Does anyone use Pandora? If you haven't you should give it a try. It's free as well, and I think you get to it @ Pandora Radio. com.......essentially you create your own station by plugging in an artist('s) name(s) and it starts spitting out songs, which you can then direct by liking/disliking. It will bring up other related artists/songs which you can again direct, and so on. If you create, for example, "Arlo Guthrie" radio, it'll soon offer up folks like Pete Seeger, Bod Dylan, Ramblin' Jack etc......and you can create as many different stations as you want. You can also "Bookmark" songs, which creates for you a library of stuff you can access and listen to anytime you're connected

Yeah, I use Audacity. Had no idea I could record streaming audio with it tho. I am trying to do some music mashups with it Been using it to do fun stuff to oldies songs like change the tempos and keys of songs etc...

Pandora sounds like www.jango.com.
